Cruise Planning

Cruising is our specialty. We know the ships, the cabins, the ports, and the small details that turn a good sailing into an unforgettable one.

Whether it's your first sailing or your fiftieth, we plan cruises that feel made for you. We work with every major line — Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Virgin Voyages, Disney, Viking, Oceania, Regent, and more.

You get a real person walking you through ship comparisons, cabin selection, dining, excursions, and travel insurance — no call centers, no upselling, no confusion.

What clients say

Real reviews from real cruise planning clients.

"Armand booked our Alaska cruise on Princess and the cabin he picked had the best balcony view we've ever had. He noticed details we wouldn't have known to ask about."
Marcus & Tasha B.Boston, MA
"Four cabins, three generations, one cruise. Everything was coordinated perfectly — dining reservations, excursions, even matching shore days. We're already booking the next one."

Frequently asked

Common questions

Does it cost more to book a cruise through a travel agent?+

No. Cruise lines hold the same published rates whether you book direct or through us — and we often have access to onboard credit, dining perks, and group rates you can't get on your own.

Which cruise lines do you work with?+

All of the major lines — Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Norwegian, Carnival, Disney, Virgin Voyages, MSC, Viking, Oceania, Regent, Silversea, and more.

How far in advance should I book a cruise?+

For Caribbean sailings 6–9 months out is ideal. For Alaska, Europe, and world cruises, 12–18 months out gives you the best cabin selection and pricing.

When is the cheapest time to book a cruise?+

Wave Season (January through March) typically has the strongest promotions — bonus onboard credit, free gratuities, reduced deposits. Last-minute deals 60–90 days before sailing exist but cabin selection is poor. We monitor both windows for you.

How do I choose the right cruise ship for my first cruise?+

First-time cruisers usually do best on mid-to-large mainstream ships (Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival, Princess) — more dining, more entertainment, easier to find your rhythm. We match ship size, vibe, and crowd to your travel style before recommending a sailing.

What's the difference between an inside, oceanview, balcony, and suite cabin?+

Inside cabins have no window and are the most affordable. Oceanview adds a porthole or picture window. Balcony cabins give you private outdoor space — our most-recommended category for scenic itineraries like Alaska, Norway, and the Mediterranean. Suites add square footage, concierge perks, and often a dedicated restaurant or lounge.

What's the best cabin location on a cruise ship?+

Mid-ship on a middle-to-higher deck gives you the smoothest ride and easiest access to amenities. Aft cabins have larger wraparound balconies and stunning wake views. Forward cabins are quieter but feel more motion. Avoid cabins directly below pool decks, theaters, or buffets.

Are drinks and gratuities included on a cruise?+

It varies by line. Mainstream lines charge daily gratuities (~$18–22/person/day) and bill drinks à la carte. Premium and luxury lines like Virgin, Viking, Regent, and Silversea include most or all of it. We'll tell you the full out-the-door cost before you book.

Is a beverage package worth it on a cruise?+

Generally yes if you'll drink 4+ alcoholic drinks or 5+ specialty coffees/sodas per day. We run the math against your sailing length and the current package price — often it's cheaper to pre-purchase before boarding than onboard.

Do I need a passport to go on a cruise?+

Closed-loop sailings from a U.S. port can technically accept a birth certificate plus ID, but we strongly recommend a passport for every cruise — it's required for fly-home emergencies and most foreign ports.

Is travel insurance worth it for a cruise?+

Yes — especially for cruises. A single missed flight or weather event can cost thousands. We quote insurance with every booking so you can decide with full information.

Should I book shore excursions through the cruise line or independently?+

Cruise-line excursions guarantee the ship waits if you're delayed — worth it for tight port days, remote destinations, or first-time cruisers. Independent tours are often cheaper and smaller-group. We help you decide port by port.

Can you book group cruises for family reunions or celebrations?+

Absolutely. Group cruise bookings often unlock complimentary cabins, onboard credit, and private events. We've planned everything from 10-person birthday sailings to 60-person multigenerational reunions.
